Bladder injury following Caesarian section

Success story

Georgie suffered a bladder injury during her second Caesarean section, as well as a post partum haemorrhage of more than 3 litres. PMS Expert Report concluded that the bladder injury is a recognised complication of the operation, caused due to difficult circumstances, noting that once the injury was recognised it was repaired in a very competent manner. Therefore there was no negligence in Georgie's treatment. The case was not pursued any further.
